East Coast and nature trail

We drove down the East side of Oahu today, quieter and absolutely beautiful scenery, the sea literally yards from the left hand side of the car and the stunning mountains on the other side. Speaking of the car, I remembered to take a picture today.

There were lovely deserted beaches and coves every few miles, as well as a few busier beaches with facilities.

We stopped at a country park and went for a walk along a trail that went up some fairly steep paths to an ancient fishing shrine. Obviously a shrine to fishing is wasted on me!
