Heading North

After we had got the boat back, we drove to the Pali Outlook which gives a good view over the East shoreline of Oahu. Then we headed North, stopping at the Dole plantation to see the pineapple's growing.

The North is supposed to be quiet this time of year, with the big surfing waves arriving in the winter. But there seemed to be a lot of traffic and people surfing, so maybe they are having some unseasonable high surf right now. We finally made it to our condo at the Turtle Bay resort, overlooking the golf course (didn't see anyone playing mind). Good to have proper bedrooms and a kitchen! There is definitely a different vibe to the North shore compared to Waikiki beach.
