First day morning

We all slept well, Steve and the kids woke about 6:30 and Rachel tried to sleep in until about 7:30 with limited success. The included breakfast of pastries and fruit turned out to be pretty good, sitting watching the early morning gamblers in the casino. We then went out to the pool deck where it was a baking 43 degrees (109 F), on a real thermometer not your dodgy one sitting in the direct sunlight in the garden mother! Somewhat akin to sitting inside an oven, we spent most of the time in one of the numerous pools. At least it's a dry desert heat, not humid and sweaty.

The view from the room is great, can see numerous hotels down the strip. Like the kids managed, see if you can spot the McDonalds!
