Waikiki Beach

We woke up early due to the time difference, so we were all up and ready to go before 7 AM. We went over the road the IHOP and had a blow out breakfast of pancakes, eggs, sausage and bacon. We also borrowed their free Internet to do yesterday's blog. Paid for the hotel internet for this one.

After that we went to one of the pools with slides and things, Sam made some friends from the UK. After a light lunch we spent the afternoon on Waikiki beach. The sun was quite strong by now, so we had to keep creaming everyone up. The kids did lots of swimming and digging, plus there was a small reef for snorkelling, but nothing special.

Tomorrow we're going to head along Waikiki beach. Here is the view towards Diamond Head volcano. In the evening we walked to the local shopping centre and Isobel had a Merida doll from the new Pixar movie Brave. Sam had a sword, mace and axe set!
