Exploring the beach front

We went back to the pool first thing, this time it was Isobel who made a friend from Japan. We even got Rachel on the fast slide. It seemed quieter today than yesterday.

After lunch we went back to the beach, tried a bit more snorkelling. It was quite hot today so we didn't stay out too long. Late afternoon we wandered down the beach front towards the centre of Waikiki. We saw the statue of the 'father of surfing' Duke someone unpronounceable.

We walked down the main resort road and tried some of the local shave ice, lots of exclusive shops, a bit like Rodeo Drive on sea.
